Okay, first off, this week’s page will be late. As in maybe not until Sunday late. And one reason is that I can now get closure on all pre-order items for lo, I have the custom Wander Dice:

I’ve also been working to clear my various decks so I can refocus my attentions to making Dicebox pages. Beyond packaging dice and finishing watercolors for pre-orders, there are some assorted freelance jobs I’m wrapping up, like coloring my latest four pages of Finder for Dark Horse Presents. I share this coloring work with Bill Mudron as in we each take four pages and color them separately, sharing color palettes along the way. Here’s a page I colored for Dark Horse Presents # 7, an installment where I took the first four pages and Bill the other four. (Actually working on #12 but I can hardly share that art.)

Meanwhile, the Spring Clean Sale continues. Some of my favorite pages have gone to new homes–like Blood from a Stone page 10 and Every Dog page 3–but there are still quite a few I regard fondly myself.

The sale in a nutshell: when you buy a print edition of Book 1 : Wander, you get to select a piece of original page art free! Plus, art prints of Dicebox pages are half priced at $10.00 USD! Both deals are good until May 1st 2012.

And since I’ve been asked a few times, I’ll happily sell art without a book, but it’ll be no cheaper; after May 1st I will list whatever art there is left for sale by itself and the price per page will start at $25 and go up from there. You may certainly buy art now and note that you don’t want a book or would rather have an art print of the page instead. Or do what others have–give the extra books as gifts.
