So there will be no Dicebox update this week. The page is drawn though not colored. And where I could push through and color it for later in the week, I’d rather get back into the sweet rhythm that I was in at the end of Book 1, updating weekly, on time and occasionally with two pages.

Meanwhile, pre-orders for the print version of Book 1 are still going on–1/6 of the way to printer’s bill!!–and I’ve added two new packages: the “Swank” and the “Spicy.” I added the “Swank” partly because I couldn’t believe I didn’t use the word swank for any of these packages, partly to have an intermediate step between the “Super” and the “Sponsor,” but mostly because I figured out I could actually produce the Rafferty family kerchief for a short run. Not cheaply and not as regular merchandise, but happily as an incentive to indulge in one of these special pre-order packages.

The “Spicy” package, which also offers the Rafferty kerchief, includes the option of an original NSFW watercolor of two (or three) Dicebox characters. Suggested as a joke by the Spouse, the idea amused me enough to actually offer it as well (I am a big fan of Oglaf, after all). There are some restrictions, outlined in the product description, but beyond that I honestly don’t care, canonical pairings or not.

Anyway, there will be a page next week and hopefully no more stumbles for a good long while. I will also make a Process Journal post on what partially delayed this page and why it actually sets me up for smoother sailing for all of Part 1 : Woe. In addition I will continue to incorporate pages into the new site and hopefully begin creating proper archives.
